Our Board

Jill Carlberg, President

Jill started volunteering with the Friends in 2018 with a deep appreciate for public libraries and the lifelong learning and sense of community they promote. Recently retired from a 34-year career in financial services, she enjoys newfound time with her husband and dogs, gardening and cooking, reading, and all sorts of outdoor activities.

Kaysee Sklany, Vice President

Kaysee started volunteering with the Friends in 2022. As a young mom of two and lover of books, she knew that she had to get involved, after learning about the Friends Of Imagineif Libraries and all that they do! She enjoys reading, writing and going on adventures with her family.

Laura Hill, Treasurer

Laura is a voracious reader and life-long patron of libraries and bookstores. She is delighted to be a part of the Friends of Flathead County Library family.

Janice Kalvig, Secretary

Janice has loved libraries and reading since childhood.  As a result she obtained a Masters of Librarianship and was hired at the Flathead County Library (now ImagineIf) where she worked for 38 years.  Upon retiring it seemed natural to join the Friends so she could continue to be involved in her library.
